The Valentine Ryabov Gallery

Gallery owner, art critic, curator of contemporary art exhibitions, artist, sculptor.

Ryabov Valentin was born on March 30 1960 in Moscow. Since 1983, he participated in the first art projects as a sculptor. In 2004 he graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute, majoring in theory and history of fine arts.
1987 - the first personal exhibition of sculptural works in the Central House of Artists, a catalog was published (Moscow, Central House of Artists).
1988-1992 - exhibition projects in the galleries "Arbat34" and "Record" (Russia, Moscow).
1988 - Ryabov Valentin got acquainted with the sculptors Nikolai Silis and Vladimir Lemport, the founders of the Russian underground.
1992 - a joint exhibition of sculpture Ryabov Valentine and painting Aidarov Ilyas, gallery "Panorama" (Russia, Moscow).
1993 - the exhibition "Avangard - 90" in the Kamchatka Regional Art Museum.
A collection of sculptural works is in the museum collection. (Russia, the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky)
1993, November - Valentin Ryabov and Elena Ryabova opened The Valentine Ryabov Gallery.
1994 - an exhibition of sculptural works in collaboration with artists: Vasily Vlasov, Valery Goshko, Maxim Maksimov, Rahman Shikhaliev; In the halls of The Valentine Ryabov Gallery. (Moscow, per. Ogorodnaya Sloboda, 6).
1995 - curator of the project "Russian artists in the West" together with the Center of Contemporary Russian Culture of Alexander Glazer. The works of artists: Mikhail Shemyakin, Ernst Neizvestny, Oscar Rabin, Dmitry Plavinsky, Vladimir Nemukhin and other masters of the Russian underground (Moscow Ogorodnaya Sloboda pereulok, 6).
1996 - Exhibition "Innier Space" in the Central House of Artists.
1999 - author and editor of the album "Traditions: past and present". Released with the support of the Russian Culture Foundation.
2000 - presentation of the album and an exhibition of sculptural works by Valentin Ryabov in the Russian Culture Foundation. Sculptures entered the album "Traditions: the past and the present" (Russia, Moscow).
2001-2003 - Curator of gallery expositions in the International exhibition "Art Manezh", paintings and sculptures of gallery artists entered the catalogs of exhibitions (Russia, Moscow).
2002-2004 - the co-author of the project of interiors of the Embassy and Residence of the Russian Federation in the Republic of South Korea (Republic of Korea, Seoul).
2005-2013 - curator of exhibition projects of Russian artists (painting, sculpture) in the Republic of Poland (Warsaw).
20013-2015 - curator of the exhibition projects of the artist Sergei Fedotov in the USA.
2013, November - personal exhibition of Sergei Fedotov in the gallery ArtHouse-429 (Miami, USA). Curators of the project: Valentin Ryabov (Russia), Bruce Hilander (USA).
